Push-Back Pallet Racking

Push-back pallet racking is a dense storage system that maximizes storage cube utilization. This system can store up to 6 pallets in depth by pushing them up a slightly sloped platform or roller bed. As the first pallet is retrieved, the next one rolls down to the entry position, making it ideal for operations with fast pallet turnover. This racking system operates on a Last In, First Out (LIFO) basis, with loading and unloading from the same end. Push-back pallet racking is an efficient solution for maximizing storage density while ensuring smooth and fast pallet turnover. It is suitable for operations with less quantity but varied stock-keeping unit (SKU) varieties.

KEY BENEFITS

  • Achieves up to 65% effective space utilization depending on warehouse layout.
  • Requires low initial investment.
  • It is ideal for medium quantities of a few SKUs, with the possibility of different SKUs on each level.
  • Provides access to all levels at all times.
  • Suitable for use as a buffer storage area.
  • Adaptable to varying pallet and load heights.
  • Compatible with most forklift, stacker, and reach truck models.
