The components

Our storage solution exists of proven Toyota automation components:

  • Radioshuttle(s) and high-density rackingthis storage solution, achieving up to 80% effective space utilisation uses forklifts to place Toyota Radioshuttles in the correct channel to retrieve palletised goods.
  • Automated reach truck(s): our AGVs provide high productivity and minimised damage when handling loads.
  • Flexible T-ONE execution system: Our intelligent automation software perfectly orchestrates the order and traffic management of the Toyota AGVs, Radioshuttles and existing infrastructure such as warehouse management systems.

How it works

  • Pallets are loaded into the racking by Toyota automated forklift truck(s) and transported within the racking by the shuttle unit(s)
  • The Toyota Radioshuttles are moved between channels by the AGV(s)
  • Toyota’s T-ONE warehouse execution system (WES) manages storage locations, truck and shuttle movements, and interfaces directly with your warehouse management system (WMS)
  • Both FIFO and LIFO stock management system are possible

APPLICATIONS

This automated radio shuttle and high-density solution is ideal for palletized loads in many different storage applications. The size and shape of this ASRS system is flexible with heights up to 12 meters and loads up to 1.5 tonnes, and the number of shuttle units and AGFs (automated guided forklifts) can be adapted to suit the demands of the operation. The system can also be built at higher levels, providing clear working space below, therefore, making maximum use of available space.
