Electric Counterbalanced forklift

An electric counterbalance truck is an industrial vehicle designed to carry and stack loads. It is powered by an electric motor and equipped with a material handling system (mast, forks, etc.) that allows it to handle loads.

Electric trucks use different motors to generate drive power and load handling power. These motors deliver force to drive wheels, hydraulic pumps, power steering, and so on. One of the key features of an electric motor is its ability to deliver maximum efficiency at startup. The efficiency then decreases with increased rotation, while output increases. Electric motors are easy to regulate since the efficiency and output can be controlled by adjusting the flow of electric current.

Electric counterbalance trucks are available with 3 or 4 wheels. The three-wheel models have a more compact body size and, therefore, a smaller turning radius.
